Burning Tree Village is a nonprofit neighborhood organization that aims to enhance neighborly support among approximately 700 households near Burning Tree Elementary School in Bethesda, Maryland. [1] While a chief goal of the organization is to help senior and disabled residents safely remain in their homes as long they wish, Burning Tree Village is also dedicated to promoting activities that benefit all residents of our community, across generations. [1] We do this through volunteer activities, educational and social programs, and partnerships with other individuals and organizations that complement our volunteer activities. [1] By engaging all residents in these activities, Burning Tree Village helps foster a caring, supportive, and friendly atmosphere that enhances the quality of life in our entire community and helps make this a wonderful neighborhood in which to live. [1] Village Rides is a service that provides free rides to community members who are seniors or disabled. [1]
