Latino families reuniting after prolonged separation due to various migratory circumstances face unique challenges related to the physical and emotional trauma they've experienced. At the same time, these families are experiencing the stresses of learning a new language, adapting to school and work demands, and facing economic challenges.

Latino Health Initiative (LHI) partners with Identity, Inc., to provide family-based, psycho-educational workshops in Spanish to Latino families who have been separated. Participating families develop skills to improve communication and build resilience.
