Description

Facilitate and supervise open-play chess at Burke Center Library. Time Commitment is 2 hours per Week for 1 Year. Sets up chess boards and pieces. Assist players of varying skill level in pairing up with opponents to play games. Monitors and facilitates game play. Teaches chess techniques and shares strategies with players. Reports attendance to library staff and keeps library staff informed of any issues. Reports volunteer hours promptly and accurately.
